Illuminated signs in London make quite a difference if they are in a settin that makes them stand out at night.The type of illuminaion can be hard light from halogen and now LED spotlights towards softer internal florescent tubes or LED or neon light within the 3D lettering. This 'Halo' effect around the letters can become quite magical and creates an outline to the letters as in the Harvey Nichols sign. The fascia will be illuminated in combination with the halo effect, as used in the Conference Centre in the Southwark Rose Hotel.
